Prospero, the rightful Duke of Milan, plots to restore his daughter Miranda to her rightful place using illusion and skillful manipulation. He conjures up a mighty storm to lure his usurping brother Antonio and the complicit King Alonso of Naples to the island. There, his magic brings about the revelation of Antonio’s lowly nature, the redemption of the King, and the marriage of Miranda to Alonso’s son, Ferdinand.

Please bring your own blankets or chairs, as the seating area is a lawn in Ives Park. (Front section for lawn seating, center section for low backed chairs, back section for high backed chairs.) Also be aware that the temperature can drop when the sun goes down – bring warm clothing or blankets.
